Welcome to the Gallery Page for my 2020 trip to Scotland. Myself and Friends, Graham, Alex and Thomas all embarked on an 11 Day Trip from London to Scotland. We Departed on August 16th from Alton Railway Station aboard the 11:15 service to London Waterloo.

August 16th 2020, we begun with a day trip to London travelling a few of the Local Lines in and around London, a Highlight was the GOBLIN (Gospel Oak to Barking Line) which had recently introduced Class 710 Aventra units which was a nice ride.

I awoke this morning shortly after departure from Arrochar & Tarbet Station on the Caledonian Sleeper.
We had a minimal room breakfast service due to the Covid-19 restrictions that were still in place at the time of the trip. However was also during the time we had the eat out to help out scheme - So go figure. We arrived in approximately 10:00 and dropped our kit at the hotel before continuing with our day and boarding the 11:45 service to Mallaig where we followed the Jacobite up the line. |
